CommentsEven if Virginia did approve the 13th amendement in 1819 the amendemtn would still have not received the approval of enough states for ratification since by 1819 there were 22 states. Thus the amendemnt would have still been several states short.

CommentsThe blinkered egalitarianism that promoted this alleged amendment is nothing to be proud of. Titles of nobility add a distinctive texture to a society that America is poorer,not richer,for being without.
